Wateva oki.. I like my blog the way it is! The reason that I don't wanna put a song there is so that the point of my blog wont be disturbed.. But it's even better right without song? So you guys can listen to any song you guys want and it will suit your own tastes in songs rather than me putting one song on the blog and what happens if some people don't like it? AHH! Must think bout other people right?!

Be considerate people!
So, anybody wanna tell me bout new gossips going on in school, life? hahax! I'm running outta gossips people!!

Oh by the way.. I personally think that the End of Days is coming. Have you people been following the news? There's like earthquakes everywhere, volcanoes erupting, tsunami coming in again when the scientists said that the next tsunami wont be in for a next 200years?! When you read the bible, if I'm not mistaken in the book of Revelations there's all the characteristics of the End of Days. I'm so scared that the End of Days would come so early! I've haven't even got married yet and had my kids yet! I don't want the End of Days to come before I have my own family.. Hope God would hear this prayer of mine. He can bring the End of Days after I get married and have kids. =P hahax!
that's what happens when you worry too much! Eh really oki.. Imagine, you haven't had your own family yet and the End of Days comes? Would there be marriage in heaven? hmmm.. but we wont have time because we would be worshipping God 24/7!
AHH! I'm really scared! Oh when the news broadcasted that there was a tsunami in the west of Java my heart stopped beating oki! My God-mom lives there and until now she still hasn't called me yet! I'm so worried that something might have happened to her! Then to make it worst, when the news broadcasted there was a tsunami in eastern Java my heart came outta my mouth oki! My house is in eastern Java! All my stuff are there, what if the tsunami engulfed everything in my house?? Oh some might not know but I'm actually Indonesian. A mixed blood.
So I lived in Indo for like 9years and I came to Singapore to study from primary 4. Now I'm in Sec2 and happy to be in it.

Another worry that I have is that I might not make it to JC. Every morning I would take my bus to school and the bus would be 90% occupied by JC students. Either from St. Andrew's JC or Catholic JC. So when I look around, they're like studying their notes on the bus and I look at their faces and they look as if they could just faint any moment! And knowing that my grades are not very good, I really worry! I would like count my points in the bus and thinking on how I could cut down the number of points. And there's only one way really.
change my F9 maths to at least a B3! That's like impossible!! I already despise the freaking subject and now I hafta get B3! the rest I could cope with a A2. But I hafta get B3 for math if I even want to think bout getting into St. Andrew's JC! Yes yes, I want to go to St. Andrew's JC..

On Friday, 14 April 2006, I had a re-encounter with my church tribe. The re-encounter was from Friday to Sunday, 14 - 16 April 2006. This re-encounter was to show us what Jesus went through for us on the day He was to be crucified.
On the first day, we checked in at 9am. Then the first thing we did was prayer and worship and we were ministered. My cell member, Clara, was ministered with great love from the Lord and so was my new cell mate, Benita, was also ministered with great blessings and annoiting from the Lord. I believe these two cell mates of mine were touched with the ever present love of the Father. They were trully blessed during the re-encounter. Many of my other tribe members we touched too! You can see the change in their lives at that moment. I was also touched by the Lord and I now know how my cell leader feels when she sees us being ministered.
After the ministering was over, we were given a speech on what the bible says about love and carrying each others burderns. After we were told of the thing on love and burderns, we set off for a journey around Bedok. My cell was combined with another cell, Anthea's cell. The journey was fun.
The next day we had worship again early in the morning. After short preaching, we went all the way to McRitchie reservoir to go on the treetop walk. Oh my goodness! The walk was so long! It was like never ending. But the whole reason we had to go on this walk is to understand what Jesus went through before he was nailed on the cross. Jesus had to walk a very long distance, definately longer than 5km! He walked more than that AND He had to carry a cross that was probably heavier than His own body weight. That was probably really unbearable. After the walk, we went back to change and bathe or what ever. After lunch, we went to the beach to have a really fun time of games but not just any games! We had to go through a game which would show us what type of humiliation Jesus went through. But the things we did were definately not amounting to what Jesus went through. We had to wear a watermelon on our heads after we finished eating it with our bare hands. We then had to walk under a line that was covered with disguisting goo and ickie stuff like chilli, ketchup, mayonaise etc. We then had to hand walk across the beach, drink lime juice which other people from our group has drunk from after sqeezing it with our mouths. We did a lot of disguisting things.
After the day's activities we went back to bathe then had dinner had a debriefing and played games before we went to bed. The next day we had worship and lunch then we went to service at EXPO. The whole re-encounter was an excellent experience. We were really touched by the Lord our God. Oh one more thing, my group had 8 boxes of pizza from canadian pizza. It was great!

Speaker: Melvyn Mak 22nd October 2005
The Path to Winning Prizes
-Phillipians 3:12-21
[Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.]
The passage in the Bible is telling us the goal that we should have for God. The prize that is stated in the passage is The Victor's crown of righteousness. To be able to obtain this prize, we have to have 3 important attitudes.
1. Perspective
2. Perserverance
3. Passion

PERSPECTIVE: Is to leave the past behind.
Do not dwell on the things that happened in the past. Both good and bad. If we dwell on the bad things we did in life, we would not be able to look into the future because the sin we have committed in the past gives us low-self esteem. It pulls us back the moment we are about to succeed. The past faults plants negative thoughts in us, so we think "oh, last time I did this I failed terribly and what makes you think I wont do it again?" This is exactly the behavior that will ruin our future.
The reason to why we have to forget the good things we did in the past as well is because if we dwell on the good that we have done it does not give us the opportunity to improve ourselves. When you forget the past, the game is only have over!
*A ruined past does not mean a ruined future. It's the way you deal with the past.*

PERSERVERANCE: Don't live on the, IF ONLY
We have to press on with the goals in our lives. We cannot stop halfway when there is a difficult situation for us. We have to overcome the problem and continue to strive for the goal. Never give up. That's the most simplest explanation. I bet all of you know what perserverance means, if you don't look up the dictionary! LOLX.
Perserverance comes from energy. When you have energy, you would be able to perservere longer. But energy doesn't mean food and nutritions. Energy means a source that brings out the will power to do something. An inspiration you might call it. For example, for me my point of energy is my church's youth service that is held every Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm. At Expo MaxPavillion, next to Hall 9. [HINT HINT].
The opposite of energy is SIAN. When you have a reluctant heart to do something, you will not be able to succeed in the goals that you have..

PASSION: Always look back at the CROSS.
Once you have the first 2 attitudes done, you must always remember to look back to the cross. Meaning, when you achieved something in your life always remember to give thanks to the Lord. And remember that everyday is a new day. And today could be a new day for YOU! It does not have to be the same boring routin that you do every mornig when you wake up.
Brush teeth, bathe, eat breakfast, go to school/work, come home, eat dinner, watch tv, sleep and continue the whole cycle again the next day. NO! It is a new day every day. no 2 days are alike even if it seems like it to you. The birds don't sing the same tunes every day, people don't walk the same route every day. God does not have a same plan for you every day! He has different plans for you for every day of your life. But there is always the main plan for you. God does not say, "Ok Mark, erm.. today you will do the exact same thing as you did yesterday!". But instead He would say, "Ok Mark, today you will go to chruch then tomorrow you will spread my word to those around you!" And this might be the first time for "Mark" to do such a thing!
*Everyday is a new day*

Here are some Bible text that are relevant to this preaching:
Mark 10:21
Luke 10:42
John 9:25
Psalms 27:4
2 Timothy 4:6-8
Hebrews10:17
Isaiah 43:25
Jeremiah 31:34
Luke 9:62
Luke 17:32

*God Bless You*
Tangxp
